Hi
Has anyone used the above company's oil paints for figure painting,as after checking their web site they sound the business. They come in affordable 20 ml tubes.
They also sell a pack of tubes for face painting.
Just curious

Hi

I know of them. Used to be part of MIG Productions range but now seem to be independent. Mig Jimenez is a great AFV modeller but his business arrangements are complicated as he fell out with the co-owner of MIG and the worked with another crowd ( I think) but now is involved with AMMO.

Originally they were created for use in vehicle weathering, mainly AFVs. due to the scales the pigments are fine. Reading reviews the Abt 502 thinner might be the best to use with them. As well as the sets they have black, white and the primary colours but though the text makes it clear that they are aimed for vehicles I think some of the artists here could do plenty with a limited range.

Cheers

I 've been using W&N oils for years ,but i like to try out different oils, now and then.I bought their flesh set and was pleased when they turned to be very good for fifferent flesh tones.
