I painted this kit for a collector, I thought I would share with you before I packed and shipped it.

This is an excellent figure produced by white models and I believe it was sculpted by one of our own excellent sculptors, Signor Stefano Borin.

Stefano if I'm wrong correct me. ;)

Roc,

Beautiful work, as always, but I'd like to know how in the h*** you're going to pack it to keep it safe from the USPS? I never seem to have any luck in that area.

Mike

ps. If he decides he doesn't like it........... ;)

Beautiful work Roc. I may be learning a lot by being here in the 'Planet' but I'm jealous as hell still looking at pieces like this!!! LOL

Hey Roc my friend. That's very beautiful work indeed. Lovely metals and flesh tones. I'm sure that your collector will be happy with this beautiful piece.

Great work Roc. I too would like to know how you risk sending figures by mail. I tried once and it was a total disaster

Yes it is Roc!
It is one of my old creation glorius White Model
It's a very beautifull version for a too curious subject like that
full of colours and unusual dettails.

ciao Stefano

I think that the only problem is that it's a little havy at the end
don't you think so!!

Mike and Stephen, when shipping these kind of figures, I usually say three Hail Maries, three Our Fathers and I cross my self at least at least a half dozen times, some times it works.

Maurizio, grazie amico mio, aprezzo la tua opinione.

Se ti posso essere utile con la traduzione di qualche articolo o di un annunzio, mandami una e-mail.

Ciao

Caro Stefano, I knew it was you ;) , your excellent sculpting style is all over this figure, but I wasn't sure.

You are right this figure is a little on the heavy side, lots of metal, my arm is still sore from holding it  \

Ciao
Roc.

hello rocco. can i ask you to explain what you call glazing when you finish your flesh tones. how long do you leave it before you do it. by that i mean is or can the figure be dry.thanks for your help. dave.

Hi Dave, sorry for the late reply.

I use the glazing technique mostly for extreme highlights and extreme shadows.
I mix a little Liquitex and a little turp to my colors and apply extreme shadows and highlights to the upper extremities of the figure; you can repeat the process in between dryings until you are satisfied.

Ciao Alessandro

Thank you Pat, I'm glad you like it.

I'm afraid you are too late, the figure has already been shipped to that other guy :)

Hope to see you at the MFCA.
