Even this unit is around 1835, the uniform is basically napoleonic, except for the typical vasque cap, the "Txapela", a traditional head wear from here, the basque Country, adopted by all the Carlist troops who fight for Carlos V, the pretender to the spanish Throne.

Eduardo your painting of these figures is lovely.
I am familiar with the uniforms too, I call them affectionately;
'Napoleonic with a twist' as where the armies at the time of
Simon Bolivar and St. Martin, and even the Mexican. Army at the time of the Alamo.
I love 'em all but haven't got the years available to start those as well ha ha ha
