This is a 75mm figure by Castle Miniatures, which has been in my GA for a bit of a while.
(It's no longer in their range, but has found its way to the 'Deja-Vu' section of Masterclass).
The pavise was supposed to be slung across his back.
However, I found that that presented me with a lot of fixing problems, and hid most of the back of the figure.
I therefore added a spike at the base (plastic card and Magic Sculp), replaced the cast rope at the back with one made from twisted wire, set it in the ground and propped it with a piece of balsa.
That left the pavise strap cast across his chest, which I carefully removed and re-built the strap depression in the hood with MS.
The cast spikes of the 'morning star' pole arm were very nice, but oh so fragile. I knew they'd never survive my painting process. I therefore chopped the pointy ends of 12 pins and fixed those instead. They certainly survived, and fought back all my attempts to damage them.
Anyway, here's what I ended up with.

Hope you like him.
