I owe you an explanation:
Without exception, in our country every car has to undergo a detailed technical inspection by state-appointed engineers every two years.
The inspectors check the overall condition, the brakes, the light, all the technical equipment, whether the engine loses oil somewhere and whether the exhaust meets the strict environmental regulations.
At classic cars is also checked whether it corresponds to the original state at the time of its construction - because only then he is (almost!) Tax-free.
If a car fails in this inspection, it must either be repaired and rechecked - or forcibly shut down.
This test is something NO ONE is looking forward to in Germany, but it is required by law and ultimately serves the safety on the roads, because this way, scrap cars are sorted out.
My old Citroen has passed this inspection today with splendor! Not a single defect was found.
This is really a reason to celebrate with such an old car and it also gives my care a good testimonial.
I'm really happy now!
