I need some help. I am consider buying a 72mm Hulk from Knight models.

I have already done the 35mm version:

I am not sure if the process I used will work on the 72mm version:

I was wondering does anyone have any ideas to get a good looking green or red hulk finish?

I will put up WIP picture on here once I get start as welll as on my blog too:

I have Games workshop, Vallejo model colour, Andrea paints sets and Scale 75 paints sets.

I am not adversed to buying other set.

I used the Andrea Green paint set with additional layers of my own creation.

Cheers for the help. I am aware of the colour wheel, shade and highlights, but low lights and hues I am new at. If you have look at the other pictures, in my blog you'll see I can paint but when I look at the 2 models from knight models there are shadows and highlights I am unsure how they achieved the video clip has helped alot.

If the pics on the box art are painted examples. Then I do believe they have been painted using an airbrush

! Apologies, .. so you have! and very nice they are too! (y) .. I did not mean to be condescending in any way shape or form. ..Your work is very good ! (My fault for not checking your Blog) ..I do like this one. This scale is well beyond me, nowadays! ... But, I had so many years enjoying what I did! :D

Edit, the video is possibly using 'Jo Sonja', Acrylics ! which are very good!

@SWralph: You're probably spot on about the airbrush, I even have a airbrush just useless at using it. I just wanna know what colours they used :D I can probably get as close as I can with a brush :D

@Mark: I took no offence dude, you have been very helpful, the video and another forum I am on has made me think of a GW tut for Orc skin that might work using the ultramarine blue line. The marines in my blog ain't my best eitehr just a commission job for a friend. It's the Marvel stuff I am really trying on :D . I know I can paint to a good standard no prize winner but good enough to stand my own I jusy want to take my stuff to the next level if poss, and was told this place was the place to go when it came to larger scale minis.

The Largest I have done is:

I want the next 72mm mini I do to be better :D

Capt! ...if you are looking at larger scale figures. This, is the right site to be on! ... As, it is very friendly, and very constructive and helpful. ;) ...so your friend was correct in directing you to this forum! :D

Mark
