Hello all,

I finished this figure of this IDF AB tanker during the Yom Kippur war in 1973.
Paintwork on the figure was done a while ago but the groundwork was put on hold for a time.
The figure is from Royal Model in resin and 1:35 scale. I replaced the head with a Hornet head and resculpt the eye and hair. The original Uzi and arm were badly cast so I replaced the Uzi with an wooden stock Uzi from Italeri. Shovel and jerrycan are from the AK IDF accessoires set.
The figure is painted with acrylics.

Just wonderful Robert.
That’s an impressive wee fellow & wound detail is superb.
You’re really inspiring us all to crack into these smaller subjects.
Will you have some of these at SMC’23 this year.
Like to see them in the flesh.

Robert, that is a fine conversation, I like it a lot.

It was an pretty easy conversion, but it changed the whole dynamic of the original figure. I am very pleased with the result.

Thanks Edorta!
You are right, a pretty fresh wound after hard brutal combat.

That's very nice work.

Malc

Thanks for your kind compliment Malc!

Great figure and painting Robert-Jan!
The blood-stained bandage is very realistic.

Adrian

Thanks Adrian, very appreciated!
I am glad it turned out pretty good without going to far with all the blood.

And thanks to all for watching and liking my work.
Regards,
RJ
