Got Home last night from Euromilitaire.
Had a great day meeting some guy's like Anders, Tony, Glenn and many others. Just a little time to talk.
Then about the show.
As usual the standard of the figures is very high. But it seems to me that the show is increasing by the numbers.
What i really mentioned is that the Fantasy is growing in numbers. Not the less in quantity.
The vendors area where you normaly could walk on the heads of the visitors is now easy to visit without long waitings at the stands. It seems that there are less vendors and less buyers.
If this is the cause of the recess i don't know.
There where some great displays outside to name a few: Panther tank, Tiger tank etc.

I think Euro Militaire has become a little bit vanilla? Many has visited Folkestone for the last 10 years and built up a great net of contacts and friends.

Now we see other shows in Europe that could be interesting because of variation, shorter distance, other people and so on. Could that be the case? When I was first at Euro there where many Americans, Italians, Spanish and French visitors and exhibitors but it seams to me that their number is declining? However more and more Scandinavians are coming?

Also the focal point on AFV has grown a lot the last couple of years. Not that this is a problem for me, but perhaps for other more diehard figure painters?

Hi Marc

Nice collection of images you have taken. It was great to meet and talk with you at last.

Catch you again soon

Cheers

It's really nice to see these pictures. I always looked forward to Euro every year as an opportunity to see old friends and enjoy a pint or two (or six) and spend way too much money on new releases. It's true I can't afford to travel there anymore however....maybe someday.

Marc, great pictures from a great show. I regret not to come, but for me it is a great distance, and financialy can´t effort it this year. I will try to join you there somethime in the future and meet you and other from the planet there. Would be a great experience for me to attend such a show.
Pictures came out fantastic, good camera Marc:)
Best regards,
R.L.

Marc, a lot of great looking figures.
Thanks for sharing the pics a pity I couldn´t be there.

Marcel.

Thanks for the photos Mark. It is still my dream to one day travel to Euro Militaire.
Part of that dream is realized when I get to establish friendships with fine folks
from Europe whom come over to North America and attend the Chicago show and MFCA.
Anyhow, seeing the fine figures on display at Euro still cranks me up to get enough inspiration to finish my work for the upcoming Chicago show...I know some complain about Euro .. I wish I could visit a few Euro shows to compare them! Quality photos though, sure make some of us feel like we were there! Again, many many thanks to those whom attend and share the show with us! Cheers to you again Mark!
