In praise of Historex Agents

I'd like to share my praises of Historex Agents with you good folks in PF land

I've always received excellent service (such as an order for some bases and mags placed on Bank Holiday Monday which arrived this morning, Wednesday) They carry a huge range of stuff and don't overcharge for carriage/packaging.
I'm sure there are lots of other suppliers who offer similar service, some less well known than others, so let's take the opportunity to tell the rest of the world about them (after all not everyone shops on Fleabay)

Historex agents offer Impeccable standards of customer service,
if you order standard items despatch is same day and usually next day delivery in the uk.
The guys are very helpful with telephone queries too.
They have never let me down in over 40 years
(Other impeccable suppliers are also available).

Always received excellent service from historex, I once lost a vikings shield and called them to see what replacements they might have, despite admitting it was entirely my fault, they sourced a replacement from the manufacturer free of charge. I liked this very much.
However, and this is the only time I've ever heard of a negative experience regarding HA, my mother tried to buy me some scale colour paints for me for Christmas. She bought them from arcane miniatures and, long story short, it was a total disaster. Anyway, she noted that arcane had sourced the paints from HA so she contacted them to see if they would be willing to swap (for the ones she'd actually ordered). Historex e-mailed her to say " never contact us again. Your e-mail address has been blocked". Felt this was a little harsh and it upset my dear old mum.
This all being said, I still cheerfully buy stuff from them so I can't be that upset.
Long live HA!!

Been dealing with them since 1986 and i've never had a single problem with them,great service,great company,exceptional delivery turn arround,just a great company

I first ordered from Historex Agents in 1976 or rather my father did on my behalf. Since then I've emigrated and still order some things from them. Always had excellent service, superb friendly advice and since departing the UK they always get the VAT deduction right!!! On three occasions in nearly 40 years parts were missing due to the manufacturers not Historex and they replaced them in next to no time. Great company and a model of customer service and I'd recommend them any time.
