Does anyone now if the sculptor Dmitry Shevchuk is still active and where can he be reached? He is the consumate artist behind most of the equestrian subjects of Elisena,Aitna ,Amati,1st Guards and others. He has worked wonders in the past although his name was not always credited by manufacturers. All who know his works can identify his figures by such telltale signs as the smal feet. His latest and last work was a 90mm ECW pikeman for Altores a few years back. After that he seems to have stopped sculpting for figure companies and no matter how hard I've tried his track seems to have run cold.I would like to reach him so I can ask some questions about some of his more rare works. If anyone has any info on him or can (after obtaining his permission of course) provide me with contact details ,I would appreciate it.
Stay safe and take care of yourselves fellow modellers.

Sadly I’ve seen several talents seemingly give up on figure sculpting. Not sure why. Andrea Jula comes to mind. Also haven’t seen anything from Talant Soodanbekov in a while. Two of my favorite sculptors. I could name several others. Oda’s post also brings up memories of brands that lost steam and closed in the relatively short time I’ve been in the hobby. I started when Danilo Cartacci put out Painting Miniatures book. Not sure how long ago that was at this point.
