As an oil painter myself, I have to say that this is a very neat and clean paintjob. Personally I would like more contrast on the body part of the bust and hair :)

Hi,

I've seen this bust in real at Nice's Show (france).
It's nicely painted, but I agree that it needs more shades and highlights.

And also the hand seems too small..........(or is it a kid's hand :) )

Very clean paint work! I love the subtle shading of red on the face and the details, the neclaces and such around the neck are fantastic! I would agree, I think the flesh tones, although nice could use just a slight boost in the contrasts (especially around the ins-and-outs around the neck), and I know hair is hard, but this looka like it could use a bit more contrasts. Great piece over all though!

Maurizio,

I'm very pleased that another oilpainter join the ranks.
As far as the painting, it is real good. But i think the hair needs some more contrast. Often the pictures don't do justice to good paintwork.

Great work.I like the work of the flesh and the choice of the color (green hand in particular)
The work of the hair don't shock me ...

Thanks, dear Maurizio for introduced my work,...and tks to Xenofon, Jean Paul, Jay, Gary, Marc, Djoubri,Chris and Costas for the compliments !
My Theacher Ivo will be happy! ;)
p.s
I know the hair are not beautiful, but the sculpture was very flat !!....perhaps needed to add some locks!
Best
Mauro
