Instead of a corner of a battlefield or the rubble of a war torn street, a
growing number of tableaux today are posed in the relative peace of
an interior 'set'. The lenghs to which some modellers go to represent
these things impresses me no end, and surely there can be little doubt
that Andreas Rousounelis is definitely a black belt....this one just needs
a couple of figures

Impressive modelling but it looks a bit dolls house to me. Perhaps as you say it would look different with figures in the scene.

Outstanding! Like a photograph of a real room!
I wouldn't really compare it to a doll's house, myself. This is more of a direct depiction of a room, whereas doll houses are more a stylized depiction of the real thing. That's not to run the doll house style down, but I think the two styles are different enough to negate the comparison.
Prost!

This is an example from a branch of dolls houses where the makers go for extreme realism and usually only do small sections of a room, gardens, greenhouses etc (and often enclosed in a box frame).
This one is fantastic stuff and only needs an officer in mess dress accompanied by a women in a crinoline!
