Hello all,

I painted this teenage volunteer soldier during the Iran - Iraq war in the eighties.
The figure is a pretty big conversion of an 1:35 Stalingrad miniatures teenage German soldier.
Resculpting was done with MS and Duro putty. The height of the figure is +/- 4 cm. A “normal” 1:35 figure stands between 5 - 5,5 cm.

All painted with gen3 acrylics.
Base groundwork is done this time with smart mud from VMS instead of MS this time. It turned out ok I think, but tested my patience a lot due trough long drying time and reaction to enamel washes. Well lessons learned again.

Thanks Mobo, Joe and Nap and everyone for the likes.
It was a subject I wanted to do for a long time and I am pretty happy with the result.
There are so many subjects to explore and model. It is very satisfying to find good reference and puzzle to make unique looking figures.

greets,
RJ
