The postman delivered these badgers from Irbis Miniatures this morning.

Irbis - ROMAN TRIARIUS 75mm (EUR 46.00).jpgIrbis - ROMAN PRINCIPEC 75mm (EUR 46.00).jpg

Delivery from Russia took just over a week, shipping to the UK cost me 9 Euros in total, and they arrived well packed in a sturdy Russian Postal Service box.

Top-drawer sculpting, and the standard of casting is phenomenal - among the best I've ever seen in resin. What minimal clean-up there is will be a breeze, and these should both be a joy to paint. This is my second order from Irbis (the first was "Knight at the Crossroads") and it definitely won't be my last.

Product and company both highly recommended.

Into the stash for now Paul, but straight away they've leapfrogged up towards the top of the pile. I've got a couple of things I want to finish off first though before I start anything new.

Steve I knew those were the most likely words you would use......
it's so hard not to get the itchy fingers with a new figure that arrives in the post, even when you buy it 'for the future'.

:D

Paul.

Anything I really like the look of these days Paul, I buy it.

I've missed out on a few great pieces in the past by thinking I'll get it "next time". Then suddenly there is no "next time" because either the figure has gone OOP or the company has stopped trading. :depressed:

What I can say is that these guys will get done before "Knight at the Crossroads", which I'm keeping until I feel more confident painting horses.

Oh yes.....I have had a lifetime of doing just that, now and again I trip over one of em and have to snap them up.

Paul.
