Iroquois Bust

Michael Roberts’ 200mm resin Iroquois bust. I added the hanging ear decorations and nose ring. The base of the bust is decorated with an Iroquois wampum belt design representing the Five Nations. He is mounted on a burl wood base I picked up at the Long Island Figure Show. The kit was started 3 years ago and sat on my desk for all that time because I wasn’t happy with the skin tone and eyes. Bouot a week ago, I repainted the skin and eyes and the rest of the paint just flowed.

Sometimes it doesn't work to paint on a figure. Let it go for a couple of days and suddenly it flows where you want.
I was there, been there.
Looks like i'm not the only one.

For this bust it works very well.
