Really nice figure but I can't help thinking that the background would compliment the figure more if it was from the American Indian War like a wooden palisade of a fort.

“Castle” isn’t really a North American thing…yes, there were stone fortresses built by French such as Louisburg..but in terms of Iroquois fighting from stone battlements? Not likely..nice piece, nicely painted..just seems odd

I was also thinking that maybe he could be looking down from a mountain side or wooded hill observing passing troops maybe ready to ambush them?

Sure..the problem with the battlement stuff- and it’s the window aspect that really jumps out as being odd- it that there isn’t an obvious storyline ..representatives did visit England..but not likely armed and set for battle…and their contributions to either side over the French and Indian Wars didn’t involve fighting from forts..wouldn’t be hard to redraft his base in a different setting tho..

Oops..1729, French built a 2 story stone structure at what ended up as Fort Niagara…expanded with more walls later..and taken by Brits in 1759..the original Romeo Models description gives the clue..so it’s actually a possible scene…

yes Edorta I don't like how I paint them too also I make a mistake the rifle must place it between the two legs not near the left leg...
