Is This A Good Book For A Start?

Do someone has this book? is it worth buying? It's from 1986, but it looks helluva good

This book is actually from long before the 80s, that's just the publishing date of this Dover edition.

Take advantage of the Look Inside feature to get an idea of what the text is like, that might help make your decision for you. If you can get it cheaply it is worth having to round out a collection of books on sculpting to include classical technique & form, but I don't think it would make the best book for the beginner with a casual interest in sculpting.
