Issues with 9th Gate Miniatures

This post is going out with the hopes that maybe someone can help out. In Oct I ordered 3 pirate figures from 9th Gate. I was really excited to get them. I got a reply from PayPal with my order but never got anything from 9th Gate. With the holidays and all I honestly didn’t really think about it. So last week I finally sent them an email requesting some help with my order and a tracking number. I realize that because of COVID the mail from the UK has been sort of been screwy. After several days I got a reply saying that they would look in to it and send me the tracking order in 3 hours. Well 3 hours became 3 days and nothing. So a few more emails. And still nothing. And then today I get an email from PayPal that my money was refunded. WTF! And still no email from them. I’m not looking to trash them as I’m sure they are good people. I really just want to buy the figures.

So is there anyone on the other side of the pond that is close to 9th Gate that might help? Maybe somebody from 9th Gate is on this forum that could help out. I’m just wondering if this is SOP for 9th gate.

Being that they ripped off multiple licenses without any agreements I honestly wouldn't trust them as a company.

Shipping from the UK due to COVID only really went up to just over a month depending on where. I managed to send a package to the US within 2 weeks from London. Australia took just over 40 days.

In January we had borders closed due to Brexit rather than COVID. But those are pretty much open again but now we have a bit of confusion VAT wise.

But yeah, 9th Gate. Don't bother with personally.

Just checked. Their last post on Facebook was in April 2019. I'm guessing they gave up but didn't bother closing properly.

He hasn't posted on his personal profile since early 2019 either.

Agree I was under the impression they had vanished and stopped ....your lucky you got the refund IMO
