After a long time and inactivity, returning with the last work done.
Who remembers this old bust of the now disappeared Kirin?
After a small change that resulted in the removal of the beard and the makeover in Magic, also along the top of the hair and eyebrows, I have dedicated myself to painting in order to concentrate on the compounds of the face and practice of veiling different.
Finished just in time for Monte San Savino show.

That is a nicely detailed bust, I like the fact that the T-bar is hanging loose.
The metallic paint looks good too.(which did you use).
Overall a superb bust, like it.

for metals I used the normal Vallejo's metallic colors, with the addition of a little ink china sepia

Hi Bull,

That is a great but effective change to he beard etc

Love those flesh tones ..any chance of a mix details ?

Always wanted one of these ..so if anyone has one .......please!

Thanks for sharing this fine bit of modelling

Hi Nap, I do not remember the exact mix that I used for the skin tone, because every time I try to adapt it to the painted subject.
But I can tell you that the colors Vallejo used for the base are as follows:
845 SUNNY SKIN TONE 65%
955 FLAT FLESH 20%
941 BURNT UMBER 5%
960 VIOLET 5%
908 CARMINE RED 5%

for shadows I increased the 960 and the 941 at the base, while for the lights I increased progressively with the 955, and as a last highlight I added the 928 LIGHT FLESH

I've got this one in my collection, and found it fun to paint.
You've finished him very well. I'm particularly impressed by the embroidery.

Cheers
Andrew
