Michigan Historical Miniatures Club cordially invites you to attend its annual painting competition held in conjunction with the Michigan Historical Collectors Show. In addition to the competition, the club will be displaying the various versions of the club figure for this year. As usual, there will be a painting table for the kiddies. This event takes place on Sunday January 27 from 9am-3pm. (No worries for hockey fans. The All Star Game does not begin until 7pm or so. 
)
The show is located at:
Radisson Hotel, Livonia
(formally the Holiday Inn)
I-275 and 6 Mile, Exit 170
Entry fee is $10 for as many figures as you would like to bring. Everything from historical figures to armor to aircrafts to ships to fantasy to sci-fi to wargaming is welcome. While there are no official seminars planned, quality painters (and a sculptor) will be there and happy to answer any questions and talk about technique (or just shoot the breeze).
