Austria - Product Of A Forgery Of Documents ...!
On January 6, 1453, the German Emperor of the "Holy" Roman Empire, Friedrich III, who came from the (Austrian) House of Habsburg...
... recognizes an important document, the so-called "Privilegium Maius" ("The great letter of freedom")!
With this legal act Austria becomes an archduchy and thus practically equated with an electorate.
But the document is not only about the fact that the Duke of Austria may then call himself "Archidux" (Archduke):
Rather, the "Privilegfium Maius" writes
- the indivisibility of countries;
- the automatic primogeniture inheritance of the eldest son in each case (later in the Pragmatic Sanction extended);
- the independent jurisdiction, in which de jure there is no longer the possibility, a foreign court
to intervene or to turn to the “royal” or “imperial” court;
- Symbols of power and ceremonial decorations, e.g. B. the feudal reception on horseback (and not kneeling), that solemn appearance at the feudal act with the ducal hat in the form of the crown of tines and other things
fixed.
The "Privilegium Maius" is therefore the basis for the further intensification and consolidation of the Habsburg rule, the elimination of free rulers, an area-wide expansion of the sovereign feudal sovereignty, the power of disposal over the property of the clergy - and ultimately the rise of Austria to the empire!
The title page of the "Privilegium Maius" already shows where the journey is headed: A ducal crown is depicted ABOVE a royal crown - and that was exactly the purpose of the certificate!
It could all be so beautiful if Friedrich III. would not have known that the "Privilegium Maius" was nothing more than an ordinary forgery!
But he DID know, as the document was only a hundred years earlier - 1359 - from a relative of the emperor, Duke Rudolf Rudolf IV.
... has been faked!
And because he knew it, one can say: A Habsburg on the imperial throne gave his relatives (and himself) quite a bit of a chunk ...!
The "Privilegium Maius" consists of five individual documents, all of them ordinary but good forgeries ...:
- "Document" of October 4, 1058 (from King Heinrich IV. For Margrave Ernst of Austria, for parts of this. The document refers to the opinion of Francesco Petrarca, see below)
- "Certificate" of September 17, 1156 (from Emperor Friedrich I. Barbarossa, the "extension" of the Privilegium minus)
- "Document" of August 24, 1228 (from King Heinrich (VII) for Duke Leopold VI of Austria)
- "Document" from June 1245 (from Emperor Friedrich II., Confirmation of the Privilegium maius and supplement by
further rights)
- "Certificate" of June 11, 1283 (from King Rudolf I for his sons Albrecht and Rudolf, confirmation of all previous documents)
It is fair to say:
The Austrian Empire was nothing more than a state that came into being due to forgery of documents!
With this Falksificate in its back, Austria - as a duchy around 1400 and significantly smaller than Bavaria ...
... splendidly made up to the 1st World War ...:
That makes the "Privilegium Maius" the most far-reaching forgery of the entire Middle Ages, if not history at all ...
