Acmodels would like to announce their next release depicting a Japanese Soldier as a 1/12 bust in resin.
Bayonet is cast in white metal.

Andy , now that is a true piece of work ..great effects all the way , like the bowl of rice and the lack of helmet as well to show the headband ...lovely painting as well .

The technique may be rough as you say,but I am happy with the expression that is not so much captured by more meticulous painters.

Yes, your works sometimes like a impressionistic pictures - good idea and shape, but rough work in detail.
(I like impressionist and enjoyed view of original masterpieces in museum d'Orsay in Paris)
Now miniatures technique incline to classical painting.

Dont you think classical painting lacks imagination and expression?.I dont believe necessarily that figure painting is heading in that direction.

Hi Guys ,

IMO I do feel that Andys sculpting techniques really suits his figures they are not parade ground but soldiers doing what they are best at .....soldiering ..depicting the subject very naturally .

Andys style is very distinctive and easy to see ...I like it
