Can anyone give me some info on this company please.
I've a mind to order a couple of his figures but navigating his 'website' is a bit of a hassle.
I seem to remember a few negative post a year or so back regarding orders and deliveries and an equal number of satisfied customers springing to his defence.
Cheers

Derek! .. Knock out a PM to, (Member)- 'Von Bock'. As he seems to be the middle-man, in contacting. Jeff Shui.

I have a dual piece, from Jeff. The detail is great! although the casting blocks and construction may cause you some consternation.

I could not do it, so sent it to another member on this forum, who promptly sent it back with some expletives.:(

And so they sit!:depressed:

Mark.

I bought a couple of Jeff's figures a few years back. You have to email him direct (think the email address is on the website) and he then sorts the order out from there- payment & shipping etc. There were no problems and Jeff was great. The items came as soon as they could from overseas. Casting is brilliant and I think they fit alright. Personally I couldn't recommend more highly.
Only difficulty is choosing which to get!
Cheers

I agree with Mat. I've got several Jeff Shiu pieces and they are all very nice, with crisp and sharp detail. Casting blocks etc. no worse than on a lot of other larger-scale resin pieces IMHO.

Some guys aren't too keen on the the way Jeff casts limbs with "jagged" joints where they meet the main torso / thigh / upper arm, but in my experience they've always fitted fine with little need for much filler or after-work. It's just his own slightly different way of doing things.

As regards service, I've never had any problem. He sends orders out quickly and I've never yet had one stopped and held to ransom by HMRC. They usually arrive a week or so after placement of the order.

Based on my own experience (for what it's worth), I would say order with confidence.

Derek, as you said Jeff's website is not very "user friendly" :meh:

It's better to contact him via his email: [email protected]

I recently ordered from him and he's very friendly.
The payment & shipping procedure was hassle free, he takes paypal and ships via airmail with tracking number.
As he ships from Hong Kong, it might take some time to receive your order (mine took almost 3 weeks).

Its best to contact Jeff direct through his email. Never had problems

Yes, the website is old fashioned.

But the service & figures are worth it. I will not hesitate to recommend him and will order from the bloke again.

I bought two figures directly from Jeff a few years back, Del. Paid via PayPal, and received them very quickly.
One of the figures was missing a boot, so I emailed Jeff and he sent me the part straight away.
Really good service and great figures.

Bought most of his range of figures over the past few years and paint them on a regular basis for a private collector. Never had an issue with ordering and always email him direct. Fitting of the limbs is different with the jaggered Spikey edges but all fits together just fine and like Steve said it's his own way of doing it.

Very easy to order from Jeff
Email him and tell him what figures you want with product code to make it easy. Ask him in email to send you Paypaul invoice including postage............its that simply. Also give him your address in email.
I had no problems getting the very first figure to his latest from him. Just as good as any other shop on the net.

Thanks all. Just goes to show how important positive comments are for manufacturers.
My request for info was me remembering an earlier discussion where one person's 'poor' experience stuck in my mind.
Again much appreciated......now to convince the missus that I really need this a d it can be part of my Christmas present. I'm at Christmas 2027 so far :)
Cheers
Derek
