The twist in the hip while running like this is anatomically awkward. The medical package attached to the helmet was rare and I know just about one contemporary picture showing a Airborne medic that did this. The model soldiers of US Paras make us believe that it was nearly a regular way to carry the special medipack. That said the action pose and scenic base work for me and look nice.

Correct on the "hip action". Looks kind of weird. Unless of course he took lessons from Baryshnikov ;-)

I'm liking it. Nice to see Allied forces starting to get represented (agree that British/Canadian troops would be appropriate additions).

I like the motion the figure displays. It looks like he's just had a round or explosion go of near him. It's amazing the way the human body can contort when being shot at.

Pose looks good to me, its catching a guy in motion. Ever see a baseball pitchers arm mid throw? You would swear the human body couldn't do that.
Beaches? This guy is Airborne, no beaches involved. There are lots of British Airborne figs
A Baseball pitcher is not carrying a Garand and the other gear while doing that. Twist in the neck might work when running at full speed in rough terrain. Trust me I know what I am talking about....but if necessary I see options to adapt the figure and I like the Idea of this scene

Agree with Jason, pose looks fine to me as well. Plus the sculpt is catching an instant in time, it’s not like he’s stood in a naturally awkward position.

As for the medical pack, I expect it’s not cast integral with the helmet so just leave it off if you don’t like it. Sorted!

Hi

Looks a action packed figure , lots of details to paint up ...as said it’s a moment in time

Like the basework

Releases showing resistance members would be nice as well

Thanks for sharing

Happy releasing

Super action piece......this one's bound to be a winner. I don't have a problem
with the pose - although I guess certain viewing angles might make it appear a
bit awkward. I'm sure certain members of our WW2 contingent will make a
cracking job of it.........looking forward

Mike

I’d really like to see a picture with this guy and Jeff’s other running US para in it. Both are extreme action. It’d be interesting to see. I envision crossing a street or open area while under fire.
