Hello fellow Planeteers,

I wonder if anyone has had dealings with this firm/person recently and if so how things went. On June 22 I decided to treat myself to Kanaev's excellent Soviet scout bust and ordered it from Jinkoo. I got thanks for my order and that's all. Questions about the whereabouts have staid unanswered since then.
Of course, I'm aware that the covid-19 pandemic doesn't simplify postage and communication, but the answer to the question for an update on the order status shouldn't be too difficult for anyone with even very basic English to give. English isn't my mother tongue either, nevertheless for the last fifty years I've always made myself understood!
To put the question very simply: is this firm out of business?/ has the guy passed away?/ has Korea been erased from planet Earth or am I an impatient bully?

cheers,
Pierre

I had a similar post ome time ago. Oredered and paid for a wonderful Don Quichote bust, then silence. I asked for PayPal to investigate and refund the money, which they did. Heard nothing from Jinkoo. My advice is to stay away.
L.H.

Further to my previous post: has anyone this bust in his/hers grey army and willing to sell it?

Hi Pierre

This morning the Soviet Scout by Kanaev arrived from Hungary, without any interference from the rapacious Belgian customs!
Pure coincidence it's my birthday today.
Anyway, well done Big Bear and thank you very much for your excellent and superfast service, even in these times of confinement!
And thank you for pointing me in the right direction guys,

Pierre

Jinkoo is a scammer and a charlatan. When he first appeared on here in early 2019 with a slew of great releases, he seemed OK and was actually fulfilling orders.

Things soon changed though. He turned into a "take-the-money-and-run" merchant, and simply stopped replying to guys chasing up their orders that never arrived.

Someone higher up in the thread asked why his web site is still up, well on the basis of your recent experience and judging from his past form, I suspect it's simply to trap the unwary.

Avoid at all costs.

Jinkoo did it before 2019 too if I remember rightly. 17 or 18 I think was when his first released stuff and then vanished.
