JMD Medieval Knight Bust

This is one of the latest busts to be released this month from JMD Miniatures. A very nice 1/10th scale bust of a medieval knight.
The kit is supplied in a plastic zip bag with a very nicely painted reference guide inside the bag.
The bust is supplied with three pieces to the kit, the main bust and two straps that attach to the head of the bust.
The mounting pedestal is molded to the bust as a one piece casting. A little work will be needed to remove the mould plug and a small amount of flash.
Here we can see both left and right views showing the small amount of work that is needed to clean the bottom of the bust up. We can also see the vast amount of quality detail that has been sculpted into this bust.
A close up of the face shows the quality of detail that has been sculpted also the high level of casting. The chain mail is very prominent and shows excellent level of detail with no imperfections.
The two head straps need to be removed from the spru.
Conclusion:
A very well cast piece from the ever growing range of figures and busts from JMD. Just a small amount of cutting and sanding need to clear up the plug from the casting process. Excellent level of detail and well cast. Highly recommended.
