Johnny Ringo (CGS Miniatures, 1/10 scale)

This is a CGS Miniatures bust (1/10 scale) of Johnny Ringo, from the film ‘Tombstone’.

It’s an excellent sculpt by Carl Reid, which I thoroughly enjoyed painting, using quite a few stills from the film as general guides.

However, while Earp and Holliday were good likenesses of Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer, I cannot see Michael Biehn in this one. The face is not full enough.

Painting was oils over enamels (with Testors Dullcote dealing with all the oily shiny bits).



This now completes my CGS set of three from the film.
