Hello everybody!
I have the privilege to show you some pictures of a figure that I've made one year ago. Finally it will come out on the market as a new release of Andrea-Miniatures in August.
It is about one of the most known historical character,Julius Caesar who's is represented here in his last day before a group of senators assassinated him on the Ides of March (March 15) in 44 BC.
The materials I used are : Grey Milliput and greenstuff.I hope you'll like it

As somebody was interested in other works of mine I will let some links to my galleries:

Paul - That is some really fine sculpting! Very well done! That nose and the expression on the face are just marvelous. The photos you posted are excellent, atmospheric and shadowy. I hope you don't mind, but I wanted to just see the face a bit better. I processed three photos thru Photoshop a little.

All the best,
Dan

Hi Paul

Ave Caesar!

Well done Paul!

Finally you have acomplished your goal. It´s a great figure, looking at his face I can feel a disturbing vibration shaking his body, surely he is thinking about attending or not to the senate the next day.

You must continue sculpting my friend. Maybe in a bigger scale?

Hello again! Thanks everybody for your kind words.I was inpired as you could see by the roman sculptures and I take it as a particular study, the intention was to represent the mood of the character in its situation.Thank you Dan Morton for your suggestions.I make photos to my figures thinking to the mood and a paticular enviroment and I agree that sometimes the form can't be seen very clear and it's not helpful to me.
Thanks everybody again,
Greetings,
Paul
