hello Friends,
to follow my work in progress post :
http://www.planetfigure.com/threads...itches-models-120mm.114169/page-2#post-910139

here is the finished product ! I have to thank a lot Reedees Miniatures for their perfect customer care (Steve kindly sent me a second M16A1 set as the first one got lost in the mail ...), i highly recommend Reedees for your 120mm weapons, they are incredibly detailed.
On to the fig itself ... well ... i won't make comments as i understand that perfection is not of this world.

here is my finished scene :

i hope you like it :)

Hi Frank, really like what you've done with this figure. Personally I don't think the camouflage cream on the face and arms in needed.

Great job on the uniform and groundwork.

thank you Tony !
the Camo cream was unfortunately needed to mask the strange sculpt of the face.

yes i did but i didn't want to give this a go as, knowing me, i would have gone into A LOT of modifications on this fig in order to get it better in term of accuracy
and this was a road i didn't want to take ;) here is a picture of the face on basic fleshtones. i know that nobody'S symetrical ... but not to this point ;)

Nice work and I envy you for your ability to ignore the problems on your "canvas" and cover them up(y) . While the drama that draws you into the scene is appealing you start wondering if you would adopt this pose in real combat.
Cheers, Martin

Great work Franck. I like the composition and the work you have done. Followed from the beginning and even bought replacement M16 as I was thinking about buying this figure at a show in England next Sunday. Mhhh!!
Peter.

You would be surprised the positions one gets into in real combat.
As to face camo...general rule of thumb...apply dark camo to light areas and light color camo to dark areas of the face ie...dark camo on nose, light in eye sockets.

thank you Martin, regarding its pose ... i would say that if being in this situation i would have tried to keep the enemy in sight ;)
