Been getting a lot of junk and scam stuff of late , but got to say this one from
Jeannette Collins is MIGHTY TEMPTING

Off course this is followed by a link
This is followed by this "Stop hesitating and pay me a visit!"
Think the word pay has an extra meaning here
She must fancy worn out old Admirals ; Maybe Del and I could chip in for a wee bash

Can't believe these scams are still doing the rounds. You would have thought that people would have wised up to them years ago. Ditto the Nigerian 419 scams and variations thereof.

Funnily enough I may be offline for a while, as some nice chap from Microsoft called to tell me I have a virus.
I told him it's most likely bacterial, but he could be right.

And those window cleaning companies..
always calling and saying 'sir, we have some special price for cleaning the windows of your house'
I always reply ´good, but I have no windows to clean in my house'
´but how come sir ?´
my reply ´well, there are no windows in my house !´
at that time usually they don't know what to say
and I end it by telling them ´I live in an underground concrete bunker !´
end of spam phone call...

I get indian guys saying they are from Wales , do they think people in Scotland can't tell a Welsh accent or Geordie for that matter

, This is what I love about our country!.. The amount of dialect, and various colloquialism's is world renowned as baffling! For the size that it is.

Because I'm home most of the day now I'm picking up more and more of these.
As often as not these cold calls are British based the caller asks to speak to my daughter, I string him along a bit asking to confirm his name, company and purpose of the call.
I tell him that I have carefully noted the time of the call, then I ask him why a grown man would be calling a 9 year old girl and that I'm referring this to CEOPS ....... there's usually a pause while this sinks in followed by an instant hang up
BTW Daughter is 22 lives away from home and would bite the throat out of anybody who tried it on ....... takes after her mother
