I like the challenge to do something else, so i will paint the bust from MJ miniatures in black and white.
The bust representing one of the most used photos after the battle of the Bugle.

i have used the acrylics set from scale 75 and some grey tones from AV

very good work indeed ! the BW gradients are spot on.
my only point would be that the Zeltbahn should show some of the original camo (to my knowledge there were no unicolor zeltbahns, correct me if i'm worng please)

Wen my information is correct the figure warring a captured american poncho, and the reference photos i use i cant see any camo.
But you are correct if it has to be a german zeltbahn there has to be a camo on it.
 
have painted on the details of the B&W bust, changing the face and correcting small faults.
Think is done for 90%, ?

Looks great. Another interesting take on his layers !
This particular group from KG Hansen seem to be wearing just about everything bar the reversible hooded jacket.
