This thread reminds me of the Laird who offered each of his three sons an amount of money on account that they explained to him what they would spend it on.
The first said he would buy a Tartan Kilt, The second a pair of Tartan Trues. The third said that he would prefer to have the money. On enquiring why, the son told the Laird that he wanted the cash because he had got a Tartan Trouble.
