Funny Kim jokes pilfered from the lounge at another site I am a member of (GMIC). These will stay funny as long as nothing bad happens.

re. the 3rd one - I would not recommend collecting NK medals - they seem to be handed out rather frequently.

The last photo is amazing, so many medals.:D
BLUFF BLUFF BLUFF and BLUFF...
This new leader a guy that made is studies in Switzerland (...) should seek the opportunity and "cut" with the misery of the past and start a new era for his people. It was the least that was expected...Shame!!!

note: This is not a political intervention. You may block this my post if you want.

The first one is funny as hell Colin (those commercials always make me giggle... "What are you? A hand model?")

As for the last one... What? Do they get a medal for?... Putting their shoes on the right feet?... Waking up with dry sheets?... Putting their guns back in the toybox be for bedtime? What else could they have possibly done to warrant all the commendations?

I was originally thinking the photo was photoshopped - but it would be a hell fo a lot of work to get the angles on the medals right as they rotate around the leg and trunk. Sadly I believe to to be a real photo. Someone on the site I puleld it from said its NK bullet proof vest.

Gells I am startingto worry about you.

Gaudin yes your grandfather must have been a very good doctor indeed. So good that they dont let these guys die like anyone else. They just leave them in a big glass plinth so they can be enjoyed by "everyone".
Did your Grandfather live there for a long time and what did he think of it?

Don

Second row, general third from left wins a medal for the biggest hat. Thats 137 medals he has "won"!!!!!

He told me few things, I was about 10 -12 at the time. I remember stories about high security at all times. A convoy would frequently arrive in the middle of the night, alot of men with heavy machine guns, so you never know if these are your last hours or somebody in the palace has a bit of indigestion.

I remember looking through photoalbums too, full of pictures of fat Korean generals, having piss-ups and banquets etc.
