You're not mistaken Huw.

Chris Slade, AC/DC's current drummer, could be playing either a Pearl or a Drum Workshop kit and both of them are large. Chris played drums for the band for awhile but left for other opportunities and is now back in the chair. Two versions of his DW kit in attached photos.

I'm not sure if Mr. Slade was the one sculpted however. May be the previous drummer, Phil Rudd. Phil plays Sonor - third photo.

Thanks for confirming my suspicion is true. I'm no drumer but have followed the band since the late 1970s plus Chris Slade is also originally from Pontypridd, as are Tom Jones, Phil Campbell and yours truly tough I'm the non-musical one

Neil Peart and Ginger Baker I like. Others drummers I'm a fan of are the late Keith Moon, the late John Bonham and of course Cozy Powell.
