Looks good so far but I bet you're glad it's only a bust .

Hi the paint job is just acylic base coat, the chequer pattern is black on yellow with the black part quarted again ,the silver lace has a lot of work to do in an oil on printers ink silver,should be fun I think.and yep i'm glad its just a bust.

Acrylics base coat? - for a later application of more acrylics or oils?

I can almost feel his blood pressure going up as he tries to blow....reminds me of those scenes from Waterloo and Zulu where the trumpeter is valiantly trying to get out a note in the midst of raging battle. Colin
