Introduction

Along with all the March releases Pegaso, also released this Neoclassical Fountain sculpted by the master Luca Piergentili that really got my attention on first sight. I never had any experiences with Pegaso groundworks so I thought that this was the right time to do so. So here it is, I hope you like and enjoy this review.

Quality and Detail

For first sight of the Pegasos groundworks, I have to admit that I was really pleased to see that the quality that they maintain in their figures, is also passed to this lovely kit. Crisp details clean casting make the neoclassical fountain attractive to everyone.

Painting

As you can see from the pictures of the finished kit, from Pegasos site, a very careful and neat painting can really turn the grey resin into a very beautiful and life-like fountain. Give it a try and I'm sure that you can get similar results.

Conclusion

In conclusion I have to admit that for my first time of a Pegaso groundwork kit, I was more than happy and surely convinced me to give a try of more of them. So do not hesitate, give them a try and accompany your figure with a lovely groundwork.

Finally I would like to Thank again Pegaso Models and Luca Marchetti the owner for providing this kit.

Thank you, Xenofon, for this informative review. I take a keen interest in Pegaso's products - figures and groundwork - and this piece is indeed up to their high standard.

One question: It seems that they did not ship the spout to the fountain (copper piece coming from lion's mouth? No?) That touch, along with the water on the box art, is quite dramatic.

Efharisto poli!

Kyle :)

Kyle the spout is on the second picture from the bottom. It's just attached on a bigger piece of resin. :)
