Knight Bust from Bonaparts

Hi guys
Strangely enough purchased this at Bugle call the last time I went and my life went tits up thought I would give him a go like to have a few projects on the go lol
It's a really lovely bust very sharp casting very little clean up and lend s itself to being painted which is always a good start lol it comes with a have shield and some shoulder plates and a hand and acut off sword .
Black undercoat , the White 60 degree spray of white

Looking good Chris. Funnily enough I've got this one about 2/3 finished myself. It's a nice piece that you don't see very often. I'm leaving off the disembodied hand with the sword stub though. Just doesn't look right to me somehow.

Yea I am doing the same lol yea it's a cracking bust , not going to use the face guard will use the shield are you using any perticular colour scheme

I'm leaving the face guard off as well because I think he has a good 'character' face that would be a shame to cover up.

Call me Mr. Unimaginative, but I'm doing the black scheme. I'm treating it as an exercise in painting that sometimes troublesome colour.
