One more blast from the past becoming widely available. The EMI heavy destrier-type horses were some of the best.Glad to see such a great figure back on the market.Well done Olimpya.

Thanks Oda, we are glad you like it. Yes, Ezio's horses are always beautiful and well done in the poses.
Here the knight has been modified with a new sculpture, always by Ezio Pannitteri.;)

Thanks Nap, yes, it is suitable for many heraldries even of English or French lords(y)

One of the Leper Brothers of Jerusalem - I suppose leprosy was regarded as a divine punishment, so donning armour for the church eased the dead knight's eventual passage into the after-life.

A nicely posed and executed model, but the reins should hang down, not up!

Quite so Mike although there is a slight chance that "leprosy" was an umbrella term that included other diseaeses with similar symptoms that couldn't be explained or cured.Probably the most iconic of all Orders as its members were already "dead to the world" and if you factor in one of Leprosy's symptoms, that of feeling no pain (due to nerve damage) ,they must have been pretty intimidating.

Quite so, yaws comes to mind - another superficially destructive infection.

Exactly. We also chose a helmet with an iron mask, because the leprosy victims were covered with bandages to contain infections and did not want to show their faces disfigured by leprosy
