Knight reference

Hello,
I have been new project.
Create figure photo from below.
But i don't know about him.
Where he come from fantasy or historical.
What we call this knight?
Need more reference...

You could go down either route with him, the picture has a fantasy "feel" to it but the armour and sword look fairly accurate for a historical figure. I would have some problems with the length of the straps on a historical figure as they look a bit long but that's a very minor and easily solved detail.
