The painting is extraordinary,the sculpting too,the posture not so much,at least not very convincing.

Pose the figure (right hand) raises serious questions. Very tight forearm and elbow touches the body and the ability to do at least some active movement of the hand with a sword minimal. I think that if the author of this idea was in that position, then kill him in a duel would not have been much of a problem.

Not sure what's going on with that right arm at all. He also seems be be strolling along very casually. A bit too casually if he's supposed to be in the heat of battle.

If the figure was based on that photo above, I can see what the sculptor was trying to pull off. I don't think it works as a three-dimensional figure though. Especially not as a stand-alone piece.

Andrey, from this picture, and this angle arm vidmno very bad and it is not argument of. You try to insert in this position and do the movements elbow imagining that you have in hand more sword weighing 1-2 kg.
