It's has been a long time since I've post my figure here.... This is due to me busy taking care of my mom's condition with brain tumor (now she had passed away). For nearly a year I didn't paint any figures. Now the rusty hands start to paint again....
This is my latest Mig 1/9 resin bust. A Korean Chosun dynasty admiral Lee Sun Sin(李舜臣). The detail is very good. As U can see the decoration on the helmet. and armour... The only pity is I've lost the trident on top of the helmet plum, So I replace with a scratch built one with needle and some aluminium cut out....
Lee is remembered for his numerous victories fighting the Japanese during the Japanese invasions of Korea (1592-1598). Among his twenty-three victories, the Battle of Myeongnyang and the Battle of Hansan Island are the most famous battles where Lee's Turtle ship (Geobukseon) claimed victorios.
