Kyra 75mm Black Crow

Hi my name is Robert this will be my first post. The figure is from Black Crow 75 mm fantasy figure in resin, this is the first time I have painted a figure in all acrylics, tried to do some layering.
I still need more practice with acrylics but over all I am pretty happy with the out come all comments welcome.

I think you did very well with your first time acrylics. Lots of different colors and textures on this figure.

Looks like you did very well, although the photos aren't great (I'm sure they don't do your work justice). Nice groundwork too.

Are you making a switch from oils (or some other medium) to acrylics?

Thanks Nap it was a fun figure to paint, thanks Nigel yes I agree the pics could be better, not really switching from acrylics to oils just trying to add a new medium to what I enjoy doing.

Nicely done, Robert. Looks great. Black Crow's figures appear to be well crafted. Hope you had a great deal of fun with your first venture into all-acrylic painting.

I must admit I really did have a good time learning a few things about using acrylics, I will be using acrylics again. I will still use oil paints but it is nice to have a different way to paint.
