This is the third bust Steve has sculpted for me depicting Victorian era soldiers, the other two are a Black Watch sergeant and an officer of the Queens Own Corps of Guides.
The bases are included.

Price are £27.50 each or £65.00 for all three.

Hi guys - just a bit of additional info on this one - Can be painted with either red tunic with white facings (they were ordered to wear them at the battle of Kirkeban) and by removing the sculpted SStaffs on the epaulettes, grey serge tunic, or khaki, as issued on embarkation for the Gordon Relief Expedition. He has the mid pattern pouches stained with tea/coffee and the greatcoat worn in place of the messtin. Collar badges are brass.

The helmet cover was made from sailcloth and features a hessian square with a pale yellow knot sewn on and has a stained brown chinstrap and a clay pipe.

cheers, (y)

Wow, great job, the sculpt is just fantastic ! Thank for the news with this beautiful bust !(y)

Honestly I go away for a bit and Valiant does it again ...

Good subject choice with plenty of variations and conversion potential

Be nice to see it painted up ...Steve !!

Thanks for sharing

Nap

PS .And he has 2 medal ribbons

....is this based on a Osprey plate ?

Cheers Kev - not based on a specific pic, the tunic and helmet cover are in the Regimental Museum, along with examples of equipment, so I fashioned the figure around them - but, as you say, with a minimum of tweaking could be made to represent any other infantry regiment at that time.(y)
