Here is my latest Native American bust.

It is the Crazy Horse bust from Himini but I just made it a Lakota warrior.

This is my second one of this mounted bust so I wanted to make it different. I modified the horse decorations by adding horns to the mask.

The color scheme is from a painting by Bob Coronato.

I redid the chest decoration also. I added a shield to the figure and modified the knife handle.

This is a beautiful kit and an enjoyment to build and paint.

I also included a photo of my first figure as comparison.

Super paintwork and presention..... I too love this subject....Keep up the good work. The only thing I might add is a bit bigger diameter wood piece to the bottom of your existing base for balance from a visual standpoint. That's just my opinion.

Thanks Wayne. I did as you suggested and mounted both figures on larger bases. It does add more to the visual balance as well as the gravity balance. They are not as easily tipped over.

Hi Mike

Catching up a bit.....lovely to see another piece from you , what a improvement from the 1st you must be very happy

Do like the horse coverings you've chosen

Nice work on the feathers and the animal skin and the shield/knife addition adds nicely

Glad you changed the basing as Wayne suggested

Why not enter something in the class of your choice in FOTM , maybe also into the Vignette & Diorama comp , please take the time to consider and also do vote as well

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to the next thread

Happy benchtime
