Hello everyone. I finished this one in late January 06. The fit and finish were fine except for a very prominent offset casting running through the folds of the cloak down left arm. I spent more time cleaning that up than the rest of the kit combined. It's painted with Andrea Acrylics. If you've missed the previous posts on this kit, the backside of the wall is unfinished, which limits the figure to a 45-degree viewing arc if you build it out of the box.

Cheers,

Glen

Very nicely done Glen. I also like your colors and the contrast you've achieved. Good work.

Glen,
I have to echo what the others have said, the orange and green colors compliment each other quite nicely! Hope to see all these new pieces at Tulsa this year! Good work,

Thanks for the comments everyone. I will be bringing this and several other figures to Tulsa in June if only for display.

Guy: You're right, that unfinished rear wall is somewhat off-putting. I wonder if that had any effect on sales? I was also wondering (post completion, naturally) if maybe a shadow box display of some kind might be more appropriate to the figure.

Cheers,

Glen

Hi Maurizio. The view is basically the center of the above mentioned 45-degree viewing angle, so there isn't much more to see. I painted the shield face, but it lies too close to the wall to really see anything.

I have posted images of a few other figures in the painting forum.

Cheers,

Glen
