Hi Chris,

I sculpted and painted this one sometime back, 1/9 scale. It was my very first commercial piece. If I have a rummage in the garage I may be able to put my hands on one, or, if you don't mind a short wait, I will cast you a new one?

Hi Steve
It's okay mate I was looking into it for Chris as he asked me where he could get one from, hopefully I presume he has now contacted you, I've got busts & figures coming out of my earholes at the moment so don't think I need anymore for a "while";)
Hey Peedee...That'll be six legs plus a couple of humps!...I think I'll miss on that one Ha!(y)
Cheers

Hey Steve, I see you have the Wessex Div shoulder patch as your Avatar..just wondered if there was any connection to it? It was my Dad's shoulder patch in WW11 (SMLI)& I wore the same patch in the TA in the early 1970's in Reading?
Cheers
Jim

Hi Jimbo, Yes, my granddad was in 43rd Wessex Div during the war, in REME LAD, vehicle recovery. It was his shoulder flash, too!

Ive sent Chris a PM, but not had contact as yet, (y)

Hi Steve yes mate my old chap was in the 43rd Div Somerset Light Infantry 7th Battalion during 1944 & 1945 ..you never know they might have bumped into each other at some point.
I'll give Chris a text and give him a nod to give you an answer regarding the bust.
Cheers

Cheers Jim - Maybe they did!? Ive often wondered just how many photos my granddad is in when you look at books, newsreels, etc ...! He was attached to 30 Corps during Market Garden, clearing Hell's Highway - I can't begin to imagine what that was like..!

Thanks for giving Chris the nod, just let me know,(y)

Hi Steve
Yes I believe my old man was part of the relief for Arnhem/ Market Garden but sadly as we all know they never got there in time.
I've text Chris so hopefully he'll get back to you
Cheers(y)
Jim
