Hi,
I recently picked up Kirin's 120mm Lawrence Of Arabia I'm starting to convert it and adding a few extra items. I know Lawrence was given a special Short Magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE) Mk.3 by Emir Feisal on 4 December 1916 that was inlaid with gold.

Lawrence's initials are carved on the stock. It was given to him by the Emir Feisal, to whom it had been presented by the Turks. The gold inlaid Turkish inscription records the fact that it was captured from the British at Gallipoli. The inscription on the butt disc indicates that the rifle was originally issued to the 1st Essex Regt. The five notches cut in the stock denote Turks killed by Lawrence with this rifle. The rifle was given by Lawrence to King George V and, later, placed on loan at the Imperial War Museum.

What I need are good close up pictures of the rifle. I remember seeing a long time ago some excellent pictures on the web somewhere of it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
