WoW that's really a nicely painted figure Jean. I also have this figure and i have to say that you really inspired me to start it as well.
Is that oils or acrylics? (i'm guessing acrylics).

Very nice painted figure!
I also have buy this kit......
Compliments Jean, the face is really expressive.
Cheers!!!
Angelo from Verona. ;)

Hi and thanks

It'acrylic. But i think oil is better to paint the gold of the shako.

Jean,

I have to say that this is a really nice figure and you have done an equally good job painting him. I have thought about getting this figure but was a not sure but seeing makes me want it now. One question, is the circles(?) around the top of the shako modeled on or did you have to free hand them?

Jean-Noel you are clearly a man of few words and let the painting do the talking!

Formidable! Love the skin tones and your treatment of the lace on the uniform looks fantastic. Please share your techniques with us. Look forward to seeing more stuff........

Hi,

The scale is 54mm from Medal modeles. Sculptor is M. Bruno Leibowitz.

For the circles, it's the most difficult part !!! It's no free hand but i'would prefer.

See you .

Hi Jean,

What a fantastic painting job you have done with your figurine. Can I ask you a question? What paint did you use for the gold parts of the uniform?

Kindest regards.

The gold are done with a blend of yellow and brown a no metal metalic method (NMM). The difficult is with a last touch of with.
