Dear All,
Last year I bought several figures, all of them originals, to someone in the UK. The seller offered me many good ones, and after several purchases we agreed a figure (not really cheap) for the marvellous Mounted Napoleon. He told me he bought it without the box and had already primed the figure.
When I received it , I could notice:
- two swords and several stirrups (one looks like the original and the other ones copies).
- the horse has several areas with a kind of irregularities in the flow of the resin (sorry for my English).
In general, the quality is high and very similar to the original Chasseur that I also have.
However, I am not 100% convinced that this is original and not a recast. At least, a partially faulty casting.
I attach some pictures, because I would like to get your help to evaluate the figure. I have had three Le Cimier 180mm ones I've never seen such defects. Take a look especially at the horse "belly" and lower part of the neck.
I am selling part of my collection (all of them originals) and I don't dare to offer this one having the mentioned doubts.
Thank you for your assistance and best regards,
Iñaki
