This is what is absurd! Based on what the author performed this work? Not enough balalaika and bears on a leash ...

I showed him to you, because I have found it in the WWW and this is the news thread. But frankly said, I am not lucky with this bust.

The winter fur cap of the Russian army during WW1 looked a bit different, the fur reached far higher and the cockade looked even a little different ...:

Also the order had in original a different form (cross) and the ribbon should have a diffferant painting...:

At least, the order should be a bit larger.

In addition, I have ta Problem with hear and beard of this guy: Such long hair and beards were usually not tolerated in the Russian army for ordinary soldiers - for reasons of lice prevention soldiers at least every two months were completely shaved ...

This was different at the cossacks, but the boy here is intended to represent an infantryman.

Cheers

What a bizarre caricature... Not only it has overall odd feel, but the details are strange too, with torn shoulder straps and strange cuts on the coat, never mind weird collar and hat...

I must be not getting something. I think it may be suited for Golden Compass themed fantasy line :D

Nice sculpting. But too much beard))). The are no soldiers like this at that time. Looks a bit fanny. As for me A la Russ mr Rasputin:). But any way perfect painting and sculpting !
